Customer Reviews
When one walks through the entrance to Brasserie Gerard, it is a cramped, dingy and poorly lit surrounding that greets them. Service is shameful, staff are rude, arrogant and take little care or knowledge in the mass produced muck that they continually serve day after day with no zeal or passion. Brasserie Gerard has a poor atmosphere, little room for comfort and an uneasy ambience. The food is not good, Steak was as tough as anything and had thick, uneatable veins of fat running through it at several intervals, the chips tasted as if they had come from old oil and the bernaise sauce had probably been sitting in a bowl for about a week judging by the taste of it. Toilets were dirty and poorly equipped. For a quick bite to eat, I can understand the appeal of Brasserie Gerard but for a decent meal with friends or family in a relaxed atmosphere with good food and service, give this place a miss.
